貓王手骨折的 X-ray 可能拍賣超過 5900 美元

這個月有一張貓王 (Elvis Presley) 手掌骨折的 X 光片即將舉行拍賣。在 1973 年 9 月左右，貓王在練習空手道時，不知劈了什麼，導致左手的 5th metacarpal fracture, 這次的拍賣還會包括兩張他的私人醫師 Dr Elias Ghanem 的 progress note，預估成交價可能會在 5900 美元附近。
這兩張 progress note 的內容分別是：
- “complete clearing of the previously described right upper lobe pneumonia since previous exam on Jan 31, 1973. at this time no evidence of any recent chest disease.”
- “fracture of the head of the 5th left metacartal in good position. There is evidence of a cast about the wrist.”
