這個月有一張貓王 (Elvis Presley) 手掌骨折的 X 光片即將舉行拍賣。在 1973 年 9 月左右，貓王在練習空手道時，不知劈了什麼，導致左手的 5th metacarpal fracture, 這次的拍賣還會包括兩張他的私人醫師 Dr Elias Ghanem 的 progress note，預估成交價可能會在 5900 美元附近。

這兩張 progress note 的內容分別是：

1. “complete clearing of the previously described right upper lobe pneumonia since previous exam on Jan 31, 1973. at this time no evidence of any recent chest disease.”
2. “fracture of the head of the 5th left metacartal in good position. There is evidence of a cast about the wrist.”
