剪裁導管前端來勾難以到達的血管

作者提到了對於「inferior phrenic artery arising from the aorta with an acute angle at the orifice」，常見的手法如 coaxial technique 不是很管用。使用 Shephered hook / Cobra catheter 可以勾到這些血管，但是並沒有辦法穩定的支持 microcatheter 進入。對於這類型血管，作者原本的是用 Progret ⍺（將 tip 折成 J 型），以及一個 4 Fr shepherd hook 導管去做嘗試。但是在某些病患上，操作醫師無論如何都無法勾到他們想要的血管。這時，操作醫師突發奇想，將 4 Fr 導管的前端剪了一個 3 mm 的缺口：

缺口的位置則根據電腦斷層以及實際 angiography 的圖形去剪裁。

在使用了 Cleft catheter 的情況下，便容易勾到目標動脈。
